These projects were for Arbor Month at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The material is designed with DNR branding and style guide standards in mind, as well as,  WCAG accessibility and PDF accessibility for screen readers. Below there is a social media post, a homepage banner and tree tags.
The tree tags for Arbor Month were a child-friendly way of fostering engagement and communication around Arbor Month. Each tree tag has a different illustration that can be colored. These illustrations reflect how the tree will benefit the world. There were two designs proposed, one to match the previous promotional content above and one where the children would be able to color the entire tree tag. The colorable tree tag was designed on letter paper with cut out lines to ensure an inexpensive way for teachers to print them out in class and kids to cut them out and color the tags.
