This was a creative partnership with the Minnesota Land Trust located in St. Paul, MN. The mission of these illustrations is to raise awareness for wildlife rehabilitation and the mission that the non-profit organization strives to accomplish. All five of these illustrations were utilized in multiple forms for fundraising material.
Located below are five illustrations containing imagery and illustrations from five different ecosystems. From left to right: prairie pothole ecosystem, prairie pollinator ecosystem, northern forests ecosystem, boreal wetlands ecosystem, and aquatic ecosystem.
Each of these ecosystems is paired with a wildlife animal that is commonly seen throughout these territories. Prairie pothole exhibits a male Mallard with a hen nest in the background, the prairie pollinator shows the endangered Rusty Patched Bumblebee with native fencing, northern forests have the Gray Wolf with trail markers on a handful of deciduous trees, the boreal wetlands exhibit a Great Gray Owl with owl houses hanging from the trees, and lastly, the aquatic ecosystem shows an American Bitter with footprints in the grass.
